Engineers, researchers, and founders, in the same room

I bring engineers, researchers, and founders together to learn from working systems and build new ones. I've hosted more than 50 events, co-host and MC BayForge gatherings, and organize through 2% Tech. My work includes programming, speakers, partners, builder onboarding, and live demonstrations.

What I do at an event

The work behind a room that is worth showing up to

Programming and speakers

Shaping the agenda and lining up speakers who can teach from systems they have built.

Partners and venues

Working with partners on space, logistics, and the details that make an event run on time.

Builder onboarding

Getting new engineers and founders into the room and connected to people working on similar problems.

Live demonstrations

Running demos on the night, where the system either works in front of people or teaches everyone why it did not.

Series and organizations

Where I host, co-host, and organize

Host

Frontier Signals

A Bay Area event series bringing engineers, researchers, and founders together. I hosted the first two editions, which drew 250+ and approximately 200 attendees.

Frontier Signals #02 on Luma
Co-host and MC

BayForge

Bay Area builder gatherings. I co-host and MC: programming, speaker lineups, partner coordination, and live demonstrations on the night.

Organizer

2% Tech

A community I organize events through: programming, partners, and onboarding new builders into the room.

Hackathons

Researchers

More working researchers in the room

The events I run are better when people who are actually running experiments are in the room. If you work on retrieval, agent evaluation, or reinforcement learning and want to present early results to builders who will push back, I would like to hear from you.

My own research is on evidence-grounded RAG, agent evaluation, and self-improving systems. You can read the published papers and in-progress studies on the research page.

Workshops, research discussions, builder collaboration

If you want to run a workshop, discuss research, or collaborate on something you are building, email me or reach out on LinkedIn.
